oops, I think it was psd export for designer not painter. I would like a PSD export that put out an exact replica of my layer setup in Painter. If it's using a blend mode that isn't supported maybe just display an error and have it convert to the next closest thing? FYI 3DCoat PBR is possibly dropping around the end of… -

@Ashervisalis the letters would most likely be painted on top of the yellow paint. Regardless you still have a point because if paint gets chipped off it would not only affect the red paint layer but all paint layers and bare metal should be showing like you said. As it looks now this would only be the case if red stickers… -

I don't think you'd be able to access layers in .psd files from scripts outside of PS. It would be possible to write a script which saves to .tga, opens PS, opens each .tga in separate layers, deletes .tga files and asks you to save the .psd. Here, if you'd like! I'm not sure what the issue is, though. Are you creating a height map and having a normal map returned to you? I still don't quiet get what exactly is being debated here. Is the topic what kind of color the dress in reality is, or what color do we see it on that pic?
