You could enhance the spec on the burned metal to make it a bit more interesting(bump blues, yellows etc.), otherwise looks cool.Oh and the hand grip(front one) looks a bit unused but minor thing:).
Here is the start to the low polys this is the base, 240 tri's, normal map and still have some work to do like add dirt map, and fix some issues on the spec map but happy with the progress for now...
Some time ago I had to do an Arttest for Gameloft. The specs were 5k triangles and 1024² diffuse/normal/specular. But like poopipe said a 3k 512² maps character is probably a good estimate

Also right now your texture colors are very blocky, e.g. for the armor, it would be better to break it up a bit with dirt, etc. Spec highlights need work too as Snake mentioned, but its getting there!
Yes! So glad you got a video made, I had a feeling the screenshots didn't do it justice. Its a shame about the very noticeable popping though. Could it not be rendered on a higher spec machine?
After a long hiatus that included moving back to Canada, I finally have some progress to show. Retopo, UV's and just normal bakes for now. Diffuse and spec maps will be next on my hit list.
I will probably modify it so you can see both tunnels.... I will probably use one normal map for few props. Rest of the detail will come from spec/gloss... at least thats the plan.
Working on his other gear for a bit then coming back for spec and some smaller detail normal map stuff. I think I am going to throw a wedding ring on him. Thank you for looking :)
