If the house is supposed to be rough and rocky, this sounds like a good case for ordinary hardsurface modelling, and to test Mayas sculpting (will probably improve in the future). If youre not constrained, I would look into substance designer and/or painter for the map baking and texturing.
@_adamturnbull Hey Adam, thanks for your input. yeah I totally agree with that, just trying to make as close as the art refrence's pose  I think i will revise it in the future and animate her some actions
Thanks! I definitely agree about the darker tones, that's one of my own self-critiques that I hope to improve on in future drawings. Thanks for the ideas guys, I'm working on some of those changes to the website. Thanks I will :)
The position has been filled, than you all for your applications! I got many more responses than I can reasonably reply to at this time, I will be keeping all contact information for future projects. -David
Ohyea, forgot to mention that. I usually use Maya + BodyPaint/PS. I don't know what the future of BodyPaint is going to be with the advent of all these other new 3d painting alternatives, but I still prefer it for its familiarity.
So they can be easily downloaded and watched in a video player that isn't Flash-based, such as VLC or Quicktime. So they can be watched offline. So you can have them for future reference stored on your computer. For a multitude of reasons.
Thanks! I'm trying some new workflow stuff so hopefully Chell won't seem so odd, in the future anyway. And here is my latest showreel. [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klYrJDhdE-0[/ame]
Is it possible to save CryTIFF maps with this script? It supports TIFF, but CryTIFF is slightly different than the original TIFF, so the file isn't good for CE3. If it isn't possible, are you planning on adding support for that format in the future? It would be awesome :)
Thanks for the kind words guys. Hopefully in the future when the studio is a little bigger we'll be looking at taking overseas applicants as well. It's sad having to turn down a lot of great talent just because of where they happen to be in the world.
Yeah, great stuff ralusek. I don't do much retopology lately, but it's great to know what's available in Blender in case I need it in the future. I like the features + workflow format of this video as it puts everything in context.
