If you're looking for a small one, get one of the new small Zunes. Video playback, 8gb storage, awesome sound quality, Wifi sync, awesome touch wheel/button pad, great UI, tiny and sleek, and you can find them for around $130.
Bought the 4 pack for $150 for some of us here at work this morning. The button to share the 3 extra copies was not working and Valve was fixing it this morning. Sadly we could not play. Not only did they fix the issue but gave us an extra copy for the inconvenience. Very impressive.
Can you post a screenshot of your model? To reset the normals of your mesh it should be easy, just select the edit normals modifier, press 1 on your keyboard (assuming you're not using a different hotkey for selecting the normals) and click the reset button.
Here's an update on this piece, haven't posted on it since I started this thread. I have the buttons and red light LED’s as floating geo at the moment. I was trying to figure how the guards would slide out. EDIT: It rotates instead, going to change that.
You can locally sub-divide a mesh(meshsmooth button on selected faces in editable poly) but, why would you want to do it? If you locally subdivide, the adjacent topology will be dynamically tessellated and will result in even worse topology then you currently have.
That's looking better! If you permit me to comment on your topology, I think you could save alot of tri's by not actually modelling the belly button. Youl should let the normal map take care of that. Regardless, good job on baking it right! :)
I made a little script to do the whole 2nd-uv-reset thing. This way when I need to unwrap the 2nd UV channel, I just hit my special script button and it makes sure I never screw it up.
pretty sure you cant for TEXTURING. but with your stencil showing holding S and then using the mouse buttons you can scale, move and resize. also able to turn tiling on. for SCULPTING the imprint tool does what your after, just not texturing :(
The same can be said for any new tech, but it isn't all that relevent to a thread that's all about speculating what is in the new UE4. Plus everyone one knows that UE4 will have a 'Make-Beautiful-Art' Button. DUH, it's just common sense. :poly124:
hah! I'm actually saving some money to have someone else code up my website. I did a prototype site in html 5 that transforms from portfolio to resume by clicking a button, but I had to put that aside for Dinosaur. :p
