Face is defiantly better. I wonder if the chin is too narrow, hard to say on account of the facial hair in the references. I don't know if the body is suppose to be realistic (I'd guess no), but his traps see way too big, like the proportions are kind of redic.
All i gotta say is the textures look great, even though I agree with Adam. But then again... if it looks good, it looks good right :P Maybe next scene delivered the same quality with more realistic constraints :) Saved in inspiration fo sho!
I think theres some clashing styles in this piece. If you look at the shoes and ankles, its a very cartoony texture and proportion. The rest of the body has pretty much realistic proportions, and a texture that feels like its going for at least some realism as well.
meh, a lot of people think that Verm. Then when you've lived here for a while you realise that it's overpoulated, traffic blows and you cant buy a house. I've enjoyed my time in the bay area, but I couldn't see myself realistically settling here.
Ahh, I see. Well I am far from an established artist, but I would try to work on realistic anatomy studies first. What I ment by "bigger shapes" is for example the silhouette of the head, which is very far from anatomical correct.
hey not too bad there. I think to make it look more realistic you could smooth out some of the wrinkles on his nose... I wouldn't have thought he would have horizontal wrinkles all up his nose like that. Arco
Beautiful work! I especially like that she is slightly masculine, it's more realistic than having Barbie dressed in fatigues ;) My only crit would be the lack of muscle tone... she's a Female Marine for Gods sake, give the girl some definition and curvature! >^..^<

This is my progress so far. Not 100% happy. I'm just focusing on the texture. I will create a cloud layer as a separate substance that can be applied on top with movement inside of UE4. This is my inspiration for the planet textures. I want them to look realistic.
I throw my hat into the challenge as well Going to do the StormCaller I am going to shoot for a stylized form with realistic materials I aim for about 120,000 tris as a maximum limit 3 weeks is my estimation for modeling texture and rigging
