Thanks bugo. Are you still going to talk about your techniques for rock sculpting you use? You mentioned you used masking? How did that help your rock sculpts? :)
Thanks ! I see now what you are talking about. Maya have something similar, but only for edges (see the slide edge tool). Maybe scripting something is possible. I will look into it.
Thanks guys, I'll do the things suggested. A little confused on your suggestion though Jesse. You mean like add a chamfer around the tire? or you talking about the spokes? or what.
Thanks, guys! I made another attempt; Haikai: Are you talking about the darker areas on the shoulder-paint or the entire model? Where on the model if so because I can't really tell?
Rhino, no worries on that. I do agree with you on all of what you've said. I'll definitely talk to our animator and our lead dev about the animation and gameplay. Thanks for the honesty man.
Yes I agree, but this new one kinda makes more sense to me, I think the right arm of the old one is not steady enough if you know what I'm talking about... And thank you:)
Thanks man, i want it to look like the cartoons so it will not look realistic. I am talking about the black lines like in borderlands (cell-shading) or am i using the term wrong :O
I don't know what you're talking about :P Thanks for spotting that quickly. The clip material is actually the same as the body. I saw some clips that were metal, but I went with one like this:
Ah thanks! That's a really good point. I went ahead and corrected that. Def looks better. ediT: Talk to my ex-military co-workers... looks like I have a lotta changes to make >.>
