As far as the going from Substance Designer to Marmo I find with the gloss in Marmo turning the SRGB ON in the Gloss settings brings a result much closer to what is seen in Substance Designer. Assuming your doing spec gloss.
Thats cool! I would bump the spec power to somewhere between 90 and 120 to really get it shiny! Love that model though! Also for presentation a black background is a big no no! Get like a medium gray with a gradient!
Darken the metal diffuse and brighten the spec. Add some more rope detail to the texture. Fix the string (it's in the arrow) Round up the stock. You can soften up all of your edges too. Best of luck!
Mini update: I couldn't help but play with a few things in the scene before i get cracking with the church windows and doors. Changed: -composition (slightly) -grass -fern -position of wagon -position of church -tree spec
thanks guys! Jeremy-S: Yes, the Hellcat logo is all you dude! Thanks for the suggestion :) OK, I've rendered it with the marmoset toolbag. Diff done, Spec done. ALL DONE. It's been a blast! side view...
I'm back. Was feeling a bit burnt out towards Christmas break, so didn't finish this up by then. Did some more painting, threw in some placeholder moss and testing out some emissive wisps and specs.
i've tried this a couple days ago and while my machine specs seem high enough, it just keeps on crashing. seems VERY sensitive to at least gfx hardware and driver version for now. is this their initial windows version?
I would say localize your dirt and wear more. Add it where it would make sense. Have some spec breakup but you don't need dirt and damage everywhere. Add nice edgewear instead.
diffuse and maybe spec. thats it. as i mentioned it earlier i want to improve my handpainting skills. and when i hear the word hand painting i think of games like diablo, wow, torchlight etc.
@coots7 Thx for the links, i'm working on the normal bake @ParoXum Still in progress, yes. I have tweaked the normal with crazy bump to get some dents details and improved the spec. Artefact on the top not fixed. Snapghost.
