This page has a lot of information about the reflection capture actors. https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Resources/Showcases/Reflections/index.html#reflectionconsiderations Still a screenshot of the material editor would help because we could also see thumbnail images of the textures along with what they are…
Wow, for some reason I didn't notice the awesome replies after my last post. Thanks for the feedback guys! Those are some great ideas, I kind of went in an opposite direction with my latest shots though... Might have to do some more tweaking! :)
I like the color scheme. My latest work uses the same. But your yellow is a little too bright. I think it shouldn´t be brighter than you brightest (non painted) metal parts. + where´s the other part of the iron sight (is it called notch?) ?
I found out that the edge settings have to be set up at the very end, after triangulation, if not it sometimes fucks all the things off. but I may not have the latest build of the ax plugin though (maya 5.0 - recently downloaded the build available on the public section of the udn)
Absolutely fantastic no crits here very well done scene looks so impressive and I really get the feeling and mood to this scene by looking at your latest ss. Looking forward to following your next scenes and watching what you come up with next!
I'm running seven and am using the latest drivers (released yesterday) and still nothing. I'm looking into Horizontal Span right now and seeing how I can get the best results (primary monitor is in the middle, and secondary is on the left) and get it wrapping from right to left.
May seem odd, but does anyone have:~ Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for trade? I've got the latest humble bundle to trade for it (which is not a lot) but if someone has a key for BF:BC2 lying around it would make my week ;') PM me if you're interested haha ;')
Hmm odd that it behaves that way. I just tested out on my copy with the same settings like yours and it works. Have you try updating to the latest product update? Try creating a new scene and test it out to see if the problem lies in the scene or the application itself.
Hey voice, thanks for the PO. MASSIVE thankyou to Almighty_Gir for going over my mesh with me in g+ and teaching me a bunch of awesome tricks/pointers. Here's the latest with the face. Tomorrow i'l resume armour work, and probably get started tackling the first bits of cloth.
L4d2 is pretty old so you probably need to get your hands on an older version on 3ds Max. I doubt anyone has recompiled the exporters for the latest versions of Max. Do some research, find out when the game was in development, and what software was used then.
