WIP Not sure if I'm going to enter the Comic con challenge yet, but I figured I would start sketch-sculpting my idea. Going for if Bane and Venom mash-up. Added on the direction of the backpack. Design isn't there but the symbiotic suit clinging to it is.
don't see why the japanese branch of sony has to bow and give their deepest apologies for something that happened in america.. 「日本は謝りすぎ」 but shit, s'long I get to play mah gaemz online next weekend..
ALrighty.. so made a few changes and polished some of the forms.. here is a bpr render of the high poly. colors aren't final but its getting super close. I still have to detail it and do his bow. Crits always welcome :D
You might wanna take a look on this thing I made well: http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/texturing/c/nightshade-uv-editor It's free to use and will make a lot of the UV:ing process easier. More features comming soon.
To be fussy, i think the slide should exceed a bit more on the sides to cover the frame, like on serialkiler pic. Also there are like artefacts on the back of the slide coz mesh seems to interpenetrate ? The metal looks a bit like plastic to me, but that's a solid job.
This looks really great. What is throwing it off right now is that there is no wear on the hammer, grip safety, sights, barrel, or internals. Here is a picture of many pistol barrels with normal wear from slide contact. http://www.xd-hs2000.com/images/barrels.jpg
can you post the concept that inspired this? just curious to see where it is going. also the legs seem a bit bowed right now, and some bend int he elbow would go a long way on making the pose look more natural.
Studios: DICE, Blender Foundation Tools: Blender 2.8 Games: BFV, CoD "Black Ops 4", Forza Horizon 4 These nominees, define an underlying conviction why I'd initially chose this medium too express myself creatively via technology.
Update, playing around with more effects, thinking of ways to get some more Z axis movement into the piece, was thinking her bow could be drawing on the energy of the forest, might be a bit too much tho so will continue to experiment for other solutions
I'd love it to have all kinds of infos, from a place where everyone can upload tutorials they've made, which will hopefully be nicely categorized, to write ups on pros and cons of various 3d programs to explanations of tecniques, to links to helpful scripts.
