Everybody I talk to talks about how amazing this scene was, how authentic and powerful it was. You guys did some masterful work here, and besides the effectiveness of the cg, was the effectiveness of the story telling you did with that cg. Amazing work ! -

I've gotten that error when the hard drive isn't working. Usually if I open up the case and make sure all the power plugs and IDE ribbons are secure that usually solves it. Nothin like the ol "jiggle the cable" fix! -

I'd say just use a GTX 260 or GTX 280. Only game that needs lots of power is Crysis, and it is only fun for so long. I'm using a 8800gt, and it's great, even played through Crysis on Very High at 1280x720. :) -

I LOVE THE MACHETE! I also love the weapons. They FEEL powerful now. I don´t know. This feels more like a zombie survival game than the first one. Haven´t witnessed any bugs yet. -

whatever, I like some of my actions games to be hyper gore powered (Especially id Games), probably because I'm a barbarian. But if they don't put some in, oh well. Why my apathy? Because there will probably be a gore mod for it. -

anyone who needs to "hunt" with anything more powerful than a bow and arrow is a bully, not a hunter. though not as bad as the the people from america's history that used to shoot buffalo from moving trains and kill 400 in a day just for fun. -

My friend has an LCD TV, its really really beautiful responsive too and its a skinny little thing that doesn't eat much power. I could ask him if his has any siblings if you want? -

I could have sworn that Maya was power animator first and LW was still LW at the time... color me wrong then! =] And yeah... the modo update looks like the most significant at siggraph so far - in terms of pure modeling enhancements.
