Jerc is right, if you want to do "incorrect" normals, you can use blur nodes and blend to get what you're looking for. I also recently created a node that could help you. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10617759/HBNoisePolisher.sbsar
love the expressions, but why do her eyelids never (or hardly) adapt to the deformation of the skin when she moves her mouth-, cheek- or forehead muscles? or can you blend them from the subtle changes you made in the first sheet?
nice models man, I like your work! It would be nice with some reference pics on the original blade runner car :) and the green backgound color in marmorset do blend with the car a litle bit, maybe change the value/ color a bit ? :)
you should use the paint weights( and paint blend weights) to smooth out awkward bits. it's a bit a fiddly at first, but definitely useable. I generally use a couple of twist joints in the upper arm also which really helps the deformation.
Finally got back to this. Working on some surfacing. Not sure If I will paint moss etc into it or if I will do it on a blended shader in ue4 just yet. We shall see i Guess. The stuff all together The individual parts. Dude for scale
Yah I found that out earlier lol. Oh and just in case anyone else wants to try this out, when you use skin wrap make sure you have the blend to base unchecked and weight all points checked.
you have to use either biped's motion mixer or motion flow dialogs to achieve this. there you can load in and string together bip files and adjust their blending. motion mixer is far more powerful and available since - i believe - max5.
I hate it when a movie has a woman character who is running through the jungle, getting shot at, she's bleeding all over the place, she has no shoes and her clothes are torn... YET HER FUCKING MAKEUP IS PERFECT! AHHH
It would be better and make a little bit more sense to blend the color of the lights with a secondary source...say from the side walls...red is too often seen and gets weary. Should make it flicker by adding one or tow broken lights.
Really nice stuff. Does the engine have some sort of real time radiosity because the white tyres amongst many things look like they have colour bleed from the green grass and green umbrella? Really adds to the realism.
