For late payments after invoice I just email a professionally written reminder every 15 days. Nag 'em till they bleed :) But seriously, ideally you'll have multiple projects going so you're not waiting and depending on one payday.
Fletcher doing Dota2 stuff? Thats just AMAZING mannnn!!!!! I'm a big fan of your work, and I loved the courier :) please keep blessing us with such inspirational stuff :D Can't wait to see whats coming next!! Cheers!!!
Thanks, Oniram, that did the trick. The glass is distorting quite well now that the blending is set to translucent, though I'd be interested to see the settings to only apply the transparency and distortion to the alpha and not the rest of the diffuse, but at least I'm on the right path. Thanks again!
From UDK Doco - http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/MaterialsOverview.html Material Properties - Translucency: Allow Fog - Whether the material should allow fog or be unaffected by fog. This only has meaning for materials with translucent blend modes. I think this should fix it?
Had a look at your blend file and I think that's what it was. I don't see those 'stains' in my current development version of TexTools as it now bakes everything as 32 bit float values. next version will be out this weekend or today.
No plugin that I know of but you might be able to get a useable mask by overlaying the two and setting blend mode to Difference, ideally that'd set all identical pixels to black. Then grab a merged copy, greyscale, adjust levels.. something like that.
That's the only way to make sure they become a gaming junkie. If you make it something they can always have access too it blends into the landscape and they don't touch it. I swear gaming is addictive only because there is a mentality in parents that kids shouldn't play.
Jason Osipa uses a bit of animation-driven texture blending to create wrinkles etc. when animating facial expressions. Check his site out - I'm sure he had examples there last time I looked (ages ago).
i can post the wire the high poly or i can post the file anything along that it helps me if not i guess i switch software Edit: here is the file i if that helps https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42916088/mp5.blend
Looks great! Maybe adding small details like rocks, grass, bushes, abandoned campfire site etc. snow falling maybe? @dtschultz: i think its the vertex painting with upvector blending. Not sure if thats what zombiewells is using.
