scince mud2010 tris are no problem anymore... the wireframe sometimes freaks out... but the mesh itself is fine... mud dont like single vertices on the sym axis...! in mud 2011 you will get an error message.. [/url]
Actually, I just figured this out, you right click on the vertex to change its type. Now I am just trying to figure out if there is any way to move the handles around in a single axis without having to switch to QuadView. Its really frustrating trying to move it around in 3d space...
Axios: Oh sorry, my bad then. It looked so much like I would imagine, with the previous texture flats you showed, I didn't think you made substantial changes to the lighting as discussed earlier. Any chance we can see the latest texture flats then? :)
I like that a lot, its nice you've transferred the foliage to the inside as well. I notice you're going for a bit of a steam punk sort of settings for the telescope and the technology surround it, I think you would do well to make the exterior a little steam punky, perhaps by having the same green lights/ small ray guns/…
problem with the axiotron is that you have to supply the macbook for them to convert so add the price of a macbook to the price of the axiotron and suddenly it seems like a rather bad idea.
Hi Teddy thanks for nDo. I was trying it with udk but udk invert the "G" axis insterad of our own engine. Is there a way with nDo to invert "Y" ("G") axis ???? I was searching for that but didn't found anything.
Try using Scene Transform axis with off center pivot point. just pan\orb your viewport around and place your pivot pretty much anywhere. doesn't work for all cases but for most it does . cheers!
Yes, it's quite cool indeed. Good for adding a little analog motion to a camera. Although, you can get a lot of the same type of thing out of a noise float controller, with more flexibility since it's not baked in like the motion capture data. Actually, you should be able to assign the float motion capture controller under…
I will have to agree, the whole sheets of textures things for me doesn't make any sense. 1. if your engine streams data you are wasting space because you are streaming in large textures that are not seen instead of individual textures. 2. tiling is limited to one axis. 3. the only way I can see this making sense is if you…
You guys are the best! ZacD: I actually steered clear of seeing that because of all the negative hype it got. Should I give it a rental to check out the visuals? Axios: Thanks, I didn't think of that at first. As I'm planning to record video of walking around the environment though, I'll want it to look good from the…
