best teacher I had at art school was the one that wasn't pussy footing around and told the truth, which happened to be that 99% of the students sucked and didn't put any effort in their art, he quit in disgust after about a year teaching there.
I use it every day since I'm in the business. I have no problems with them or FedEx. If your stuff is packed properly it arrives in fine shape. It is 99% always on time. I've been using them for 25 years and have no complaints.
haha, i've made myself indispensible at my job! if they ever fired me, it would take them years to figure out what the fuck was going on in any of my code! sample code: Poopsicle douchemytaters = new Poopsicle(1.0, 99);
Ohh the drama I nominate Per for the DramaQueen of the month! Other than that, I agree 100% with him... ok 99% Edit: @Vredesbyrd: I think that was a missunderstanding as "hard edges" usually referrs to a way to do smoothing groups in certain apps.
AB: good idea. Motz: That would be cool too. There isn't a specific installer package, like the UMODS for ut2k4/3/99. However an automated installer would be beneficial, especially once the script side issues have been sorted out.
I see, very informative... well, I was meaning dirty then lol (and retopo & texturing not included) But if you stick 99% to the concept art that you are given to translate in 3d, apart from the topology, they shouldn't be unhappy with the visual look and shapes as this is the very concept art that they approved ?
the two most common methods are to use 99% rubbing alcohol and a rag. or an 'alcohol torch' google for images. also a tooth brush with a little rubbing alcohol works nice also. edit: o yeah and a hair drier. you use it the same way as an alcohol torch
SSAO/HBAO might be happening if you have it turned on. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/17944910/engineer%E2%80%99s-workshop-anti-aliasing-lighting-2-12-2015 Vertex colors can be used on terrain and very big objects in WoW.
Started yet another project heh. I'll finish this high-poly before the others because the concept is so much fun to work from! The concept is by Carlos Huante. By the way, if I'm working on a creature from a concept, there's a 99% chance it's one of Master Huante's haha.
PM's gonna go out tonight? Hey Waz, to get to Sam J's, an easy way is to just take the 99 to Commercial Drive, or get to your nearest Skytrain station and then head to Metrotown. SamJ's is easily within walking distance from the Metro Skytrain Station.
