ehm i cant achive the nice blending shown in the end of the video. i went in to the colour settings, changed "blend rgb colours...." to 2,2. didnt make any difference. any photoshop pro care to help me?

:) I never played any COD and only briefly played BF 2042 and Bad Company because I got them for free as an EA employee but I always have to tip my hat to the hard work the developers put into those series.
These seams are because of gamma mismatch, try loading your normal map file in the material editor file with Gamma 1.0 (choose override when you load the rendered file); or just disable gamma 2.2 in the Gamma / LUT setup (set it to 1.0).
i did that already on my geforce 6800 it worked, but i spilled orange juice on it and then it didnt work anymore if you still have guarantee you should use that, its much saver (dit that on my 9800gt, got me a gts 240)

This is my submission for the NVIDIA Metropia 2042 Vehicle of the future challenge. It's been a lot of work, but I learned a lot. I really enjoyed the challenge and cant wait to start something new. If any of you guys have tips for making my art better than you're welcome.
haha thanks! I was very pleased with how quick it was to make :D Simple shapes though so pretty easy to model and uv and then just baked it to itself because it was high poly enough, it is 2492 triangels with 2048 texture maps.
