Hi there! That's a really good feedback, a friend of mine suggested me to have some colorful element to pop out a bit indeed, I was thinking about opening up one of these window and hangout some fabric, but some tools like you suggest might be good as well I definitely have to try. For the roughness and the saturation,…
Yea. Nice references. I liked the previous wood color but you can do what you wish, i suppose you changed it cause it starts to look too similar to the references then.(i get it) Handles all around look good, they use bulkier object designs as it continues with the "stylized, small/cutesy theme.
Here's some changes after @Brian "Panda" Choi's critiques. I studied my reference more closely with that helpful chart in mind, and yeah, I wasn't looking close enough. Just a little change makes a big difference, so I'll continue working on these areas, and probably find some other areas needing more attention to. Thanks.
This the best solution, because if a mesh has nice curvy lines & surfaces I don't want to break their continuity, only on surfaces away from the sides. Also Spray sculpting the mask with FormSoft brush allows varied intensity along the model, which a simple Apply to Surface would not be able to achieve even if the noise…
@Gustavo_Elliott You're right. With carvuliero's extra reference angles, I can see I missed out on a lot of significant features that I didn't pay attention to. @carvuliero Thanks a lot for your input and diagrams. They're very helpful. I'm going to look at more references and continue. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for…
Thank you both for the comments - texturing is one of my weaknesses so I wanted to use this as an opportunity to improve my skills, so thanks a lot for the critique, i'll continue to work on it :) @rexo12 I was going for a warm overall tone to the scene - I want it to look inviting, I'll upload some reference pics as soon…
Everytime I'm getting a bit closer but a face has so many subtilties to move around to get the right shape. I read somewhere that It's a good idea to change up your materials from time to time. I really want to finish this one at some point don't know yet if I will continue or start a new sculpt.
Fun note. You can vengeance launcher a fellow assault marine, have him come down on someone and you can detonate for the kill. Your fellow marine will be unharmed. Much like UAV bombing in BFBC2. Sad note. Host player can go idle and continue to host, leaving a team 1 man down...unacceptable.
That sucks. First the sketchy release dates, and then the continuation of the "war against violent games". But honestly it's just because it's a new form of communication. Books have gone through it, along with movies, and still even music. You just have to keep pushing the threshold until people can actually view at…
I guess. Its still an art school... Yeah, we have reg classes until noon, then after a one hour lunch 3 hours of our specialty until 4. If you have to stay there for whatever reason all of the art-related teachers are still at school for another two hours and just continue with whatever they were doing.
