Thanks! I don't ever plan on having the knees or the groin visible in what this will be used for so they were mostly just meant to be formed there. The biceps arent truly biceps, I defined them well in the sculpt to make sure they would show up in the bake, its just an outstretched bicep+arm flesh(?). -

First thing anyone should do before making a game is making a design doc. Even if you only vaguely outline what you're trying to do, it's important to define what you're trying to do with your game, what your art style is going to be, what assets need to be made, etc. -

Alright, reworked the texture a bit and made stuff more defined. I also added some more small detail both in the normal map (thanks ndo2) and in the diffuse. Such as decals for scale reference. Here's what I have so far: Please let me know what you think! Cheers! -

Very interesting character I love the aesthetic! (Like everyone else too apparently). I would say you could use a bit more geometry in the knees and legs. I would probably take them off of the inside of the elbow joints, they're very small and don't define the silhouette at all. -

This looks like it has well defined shapes and we know what it is, as opposed to the sci-fi wall thing, which I'm hesitant on voting for because I don't know what exactly it is, its use, its material, etc. As for the environment, I think it looks like the office will probably win at this point. -

Couldn't agree more on the work focusing part but since enough work is complete to make a decent sized portfolio I'm focusing purely on presentation here. A free website would be nice too but my site is already bought and paid with hosting for the next year and a half at least, it's definately something to look into though… -

You can also use the regular c preprocessor for this. GLSL program is built from multiple strings, first string could be "#version 120", second string, "#define _VERTEX_", and then the program string, which separates sections trhough #ifdef _VERTEX_ #endif. Although it does look less nice as custom tags.
