If Shader Forge is not powerful enough, is there any other material editor that is better than it? or at least a material editor to setup the R,G and B alphas so that I can blend textures with it without loosing the realistic reflection feature. -

Using particles and instanced geometries will save you a lot of ram and computing power on rendertime. Instead of calculating millions of polygons of a single mesh you only calculate the polygons of a single particle instance and use these polygons in multiple places. -

cryEngine uses power of two sizes 4033 wont do 128,256,512,1024,2048,4096 etc I use PGM since you can get better precision then with a bmp although RAW will work also I think it's a preference thing. -

Mine plain out died. Cannot detect, or tell if it even powers up (no moving parts) = No chance of file recovery. My other regular hdds that have failed, I've managed to pull of files before they went kaput. -

So maybe the answer would be to focus such comps more on game'art', than game'assets'. Like, doing something meaningful but keeping it within the specs of game art as a limitation and as a powerful medium. Like a visual prototyping for a possible indie game... -

I'm going to vote for independent or 3rd party candidate (hopefully the Green party). The republicans need to be removed from power, but thinking that the democrats will be much better is a very bad mistake. I'd be happy to vote for a woman president, however.
