Its just an idea that i would like to actually make it come true. Those .bin files are not a package they are the actual files but we dont know the right extention for them, i know this because the .dds files were .bin files also.
I was having the same problem, and found out there is actually a "3ds Max 9 Extension 1" available for download which specifically adresses vista compatability. After installing it you can revert your changes to the compatibility modes\desktop composition and stuff.
It's both to an extent. The 2 people who made it were getting sued by Volkswagan (it's not offical, who would have thought, eh?) but I don't know if the case was dropped. They were hired by Channel 4 to make a bunch of spoof adverts for the recent election.
F1 Help file for basic stuff like this (as well as much more advanced stuff). The help file is very good, and goes over this information extensively. I think it's the best Help file of any 3d program out there (I'm biased however)
The attention to detail is fantastic, one major issue that I can see is that the helmet is way too small that it appears to be an extension of his head. I would scale it significantly. http://www.securityandsafetysupply.com/media/Body-Armor/PB-nato-swat.jpg All the best!
if im not mistaken, in GOW2 you had destructable environments to an extent. How did that affect the modelling? Where you still able to bake down objects such as wall and floor tiles to single planes or did anything destructable have to be a 3d shape with depth?
"To calculate the carbon impact of adding this block to the blockchain, all the energy expended by all miners is counted." Someone explain why I shouldn't treat the quartz article as sensationalist bullshit before i get really interested and start working out the power requirements myself?
thanks, for some reason I thought those only worked in max, this looks awesome though: [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlMuQYgnKm4"]Maya 2013 Extension Release: Direct X 11 Next gen viewport Shader - YouTube[/ame]
It's the first time i'm using the tool, actually. I used the trial few months ago, but didn't do anything with the material manager. Recently i finally bought a DDO license and started using it extensively and ended up having those problems.
Yeah, go to: C:\UDK\UDKGame\Config\UDKGame.ini Somewhere in the section where this is defined (like line 606 abouts..) add this: [YourMapName UTUIDataProvider_MapInfo] MapName=YourMapName PreviewImageMarkup=PackageName.FolderName.NameOfImage This should work fine. For YourMapName, DO NOT add the .udk file extension.
