Have you tried SAI? Its brush customisation isn't as robust as PS, but it blends beautifully, has a great color picker+palette system, and is fast as balls. Very barebones in terms of filters, though. http://systemax.jp/en/sai/
Hooo boy, lets see if I can get everything up in time! And it's past 12 :< Bit to much left on the creep camp (blending the ground and stuff), going to put it up tomorrow instead. More writing at that point as well!
You are seriously naughty for such a large animated gif. You can also make an alternate UV set created just to fix the seams. Bake the diffuse out, do fixes, then bake it back out to the original layout, and blend it into the original.
i assume the plane uses 100% uv space... that wont work in mud... shrink down the uvs... mudbox needs space the bleed.. but i would say thats a bug... please report it... in the mudbox help menue... --> report a problem
what blending and lighting modes are you using? if memory serves then you want to use unlit and additive to get the decal to just add to the existing texture (dirt etc.) there's another thread here talking about decals cheers tharle
@BIGTIMEMASTER sorry mate, I don't know of any. It's something I worked out by experimenting myself. You basically just create layers and pose your character. Then you just enable/disable layers or blend them with the sliders.
aww giants gone - fair enough - it was fun hunting them though (they bleed cakes om nom nom) hey if anyone explores the stronghold - can I ask them to save some melon and pumpkin seeds for me pleeeese
acc > conte > gauss > Mask_Salesman > wake why are they attacking each other? why is that skull bleeding? why am i still up at 5:30 am? these are all good questions. 20 min speedpaint. was supposed to be 10 but screw it.
You're talking about the transition from the stone to the dirt, right? It depends on how the engine is configured, the basic idea is that you have an opacity map to dictate how blends look. http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/AndreyMishkinis/20130716/196339/Advanced_Terrain_Texture_Splatting.php
@cagdasx44 As kite212 said, you can use RGB intensity to control the amount of color. The pressure sensitivity on your tablet is also pretty useful for blending colors. Here's a nice introduction to Polypaint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AZjD7fdqco
