At version 0.2 now. Latest version honors Gamma spinner's initial value (previously, you had to change the value or it defaulted to2.2 even if the spinner said anything else). Full changelog at http://wallworm.com/projects/utilities/sky_writer/resources/changelog.html

I'm a bit confused now though... and hopefully they clarify later. Are ALL Peter's powers gone now? Or did his dad just take those that he absorbed? Basically, does he still have his initial ability to absorb powers?
The map is actually a 512x512 I was testing. I cropped out the excess black for posting purposes. In Max I'm rendering a TGA. I'll try flipping some channels again when I get the chance, perhaps I did it wrong initially.
My initial reaction was that this is pretty much the most awesome thing ever... but it costs almost as much as one of these... which can, you know... actually FLY (and also take off / land on water). For the money, I think I'd rather have the A5.
loving it brome. really great atmosphere and mood, you really got the feeling of mechanical drones and the cold depths of the ocean going on. initially i was curious on how you were integrating the top "eye" light but you pulled it off really well.
It seems to me like they are a little eager to consider this the 'missing link'. I saw this in the news yesterday too, and they were initially stating that they want to investigate further if it could be the 'link'. It seems as though over night, it was determined ;) It's still a cool find either way.
or a script in which one can select any object and once initialized the camera follows that object (based on object height - some smart zoom) and the gamepad controls the object like a character in a game (including jumping) to simulate a third person game level.
Another vote for c# and XNA! I tried to learn a bit of modern programming several times, and was overwhelmed by the learning curve, but when I tried to learn it via C#/XNA, I was able to make good progress and get over the initial hump.
my initial reaction to that scene was that there was another human presence in the city and that was what was making him flip out in paranoia. but nothing ever came out of it. maybe it was supposed to be some kind of dumb symbol, like he was now forced to resign and await salvation.
