Definitely a lot of soft edges, I know there are some anime that accomplish this sort of style, however i enjoy animes such as Death Note, and Code Geass, not so much cuteness there :P Definately brighter colours too, that tend to flow together. Also maybe check out hello kitty's style? -

It's vanilla. Two different instances of Skyrim using two different ENB presets can look very different. I texture and define materials using vanilla shading and post-processing to hopefully maintain good aesthetics with most visual enhancing mods. I will be releasing this as a mod when all's done. -

I haven't played it but I don't think it's like mech warrior, at it's core it looks like a dual wielding FPS. The one really defining feature of mech games is limb damage and Hawken doesn't have that. It also looks much more compact and faster paced than most mech games. -

I really like what you've made here, good job, i would consider looking at the Strap parts, the Holes for the buckle aren't defined enough, they just look texutered, also the shape here is too blocky. the main part of it is really good tho, face / stiches (y):thumbup: -

Really nice. I love to see this progressing. Have you considered giving the rocks a bit more sharpness / definition in some areas? It feels slightly blobby to me in parts (Last screenshot on the right underneath the castle walls) I feel that some more defined shapes would really help there. -

One thing that helps is if you have some sort of planar flatten tool, to brush out some of the planes of the bigger chunks. Then you can go in and define their edges, and whatever is visible of the cross-section where they broke away, which will create more geometric interest. Also, reference is always helpful. -

Spec Power is Roughness/Gloss values, which dictates how tight and small the highlight is. Spec Power is what defines a material at the end of the day, so make sure you create a proper mask for it (which need to be straight up B&W values without any real details in them). -

define where the bunker is at. like add surroundings, made the steps look like wood and the sides look like metal sheeting. It would really bring home the render :) - maybe do some texturing. Im not too familiar with the boolean operations and all that, im just getting started with modeling myself :) -

Really nice pencilwork and 3d's coming along very nice as well. I think the line going from armpit to breast on the woman is too defined. I think that line should be pulled down a bit more as right now the musculature looks a bit flat. Keep up the good work! -

We could spend a long time trying to define what a term like "handpainted" could mean in different contexts ... but at the end of the day, the skillset that a studio is after when posting an opening for an artist with "strong handpainting skills" is very specific - and it involves much more than just "handpainting" surface…
