hi Chus_Orgaz, your gun looks ok for your first weapon. But you should bake your norm with a Custom Cage, this will improve your gun a lot. Additional a spec map would be usefull.
Hi guys, I've posed and render my Degenesis character. So, it's low poly with 11k tri, 2 * 1024 texture set ( Diffuse, normal and spec). Please give me some feedback !
They're obviously borrowing rather heavily from existing games pioneered by other studios. They are phone games, and whilst that is very impressive, they're the same genres. Just different hardware specs and control mechanics.
i sculpted all those details. So what you are saying, i should desaturate the wood to make it more settle? The rocks also don't have a spec map yet .. but it's coming next
Here's a quick update I made last evening while I'd tested the new Quixel suite 1.8 update. A change on the gloss/spec maps for the couch and a render for my gutter asset: Gutter:
Thanks Wester! Definately agree with the windshield I will mess with the reflectivity and spec. There also is another vehicle in the background but its covered by dust going through that intersection I can just bring the dust down.
I almost like the shiny of the metals with the new shader, but the wood reads horrid. It was better even before. For sure wouldn't hurt to turn down the spec on everything, and really working to nail the wood on the handle.
Quickie update: I added damage to the stone bricks (it uses a vertex shader, basically I just added a second normal map and with some magic blended them), and a simple spec map as well.
Oculus Quest seems to be using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 ( found in Gizomodo ) A bit better specs than Samsung S8 phone. I think I can safely that the pipeline will be similar for mobile games.
