hardware requirements are up: don't use geforce or radeon... AO on nvidia only. not on fireGL either. only quadro 600 series like 5600 and it takes super unleaded only. eat rich people... they taste like chicken -

Edit: In Atlanta, 600 a month is not to uncommon, I was thinking of splitting an apartment with another poor artist for around 300 each. Seems that Austin is a bit more expensive tho. :\ And thanks! -

I use the BenQ 20.1inch. It's $280, and has a res of 1680x1050. 600:1 contrast. 5ms seek time as well. It's not too bad. Better than I expected. -

I took the lookdev class and it was not worth it. It is around $600 for one class, which is absurd. You can get all basic info on these programs and practices for $45 at Digital Tutors or Gnomon DVD's. Anything technically advanced can be learned at FHPHD for 1/3 of the cost. You get THREE classes for $500 rather than just… -

I will be off my normal job the first week of March as i plan to work on 3d for my portfolio that whole week. If your still wanting some environment asset help i dont mind contributing what i can. I will work for free for about 40-60hours that week assuming i can keep a copy of my work for the portfolio and as experience. -
