Little by little... I decided to stick with Marmoset, added a light source now vs the unlit mode I used before. Hopefully the placement looks ok. Bolovorix, I agree with the variation. Tried what you mentioned with brush strokes. Something I need to continually work on. Thanks for the positive feedback TomGT, Tits.
I am going to try and get the UE4 student Github bundle when I get back to school, then I will be able to continue working on this. Im finding it hard to find tutorials on PBR workflow, I am going to attempt to make this grenade a black painted surface, with areas of paint chipped away showing metal and rust.
All right... That's the last of 'em. Can't believe I've finished with that part of the project. . . . Oh shit. My vacation's almost over... I'm gonna have to start working again... Aww man... :poly127: Ah well. I'll just have to continue this work in my spare time. Next steps: Silhouette Check Polypainting Retop...
Hey hey! I played around with it some more last night and it looks like that 2.1.4 seems to work much better (except for the wireframe not wanting to turn off once its on). once I update to 2.1.5 it continues to have the same problem as mentioned before. I have tried reinstalling Photoshop too, but no change.
Anyone know any good drawing courses or what not online? Looking into something for the end of the year / autumn-ish to do after work and such. Prefferebly something that hammers in the basics in a good way so you can continue learning on your own. I'm looking into gnomons dvds atm but it would be nice with a living person…
Does no one know what's going on with the animations? I still haven't been able to fix it, and I haven't gotten any responses on The Foundry's website either. Getting completely shut down on an error like this for weeks without any support to be found has me questioning if I can even continue using Modo.
I decided to finish another piece I was doing before I continue with the sword, just the basic gun that seems to be standard in every portfolio. Here is my high poly model, I'm currently UV mapping the low poly that ended up at around 1950 triangles i think. 1024x1024 color, spec and normal.
[ QUOTE ] i read an article/interview the other day with one the producers or something and in it he said after you finish the world tour mode it unlocks an event called "Endless Setlist" where you play through all the songs back to back. [/ QUOTE ] christ, I hope you can save in the middle and continue later :/
I worked at a casual game company a few years back and my job got outsourced to Korea. They had always used outsourcing with a small core team of 2 art directors, 2 producers, 2 artists and a handfull of programmers. They decided to axe the artists. No difference in quality there, the games were always pretty crappy and…
aye. I'm jumping in to the generator texture as we speak. Thanks for all the advices as well. I'll keep this all in mind as I continue to model the figure. My goal is to keep it simple, and representative of a figure. Shrouding a figure in cloth is kindof a cheat to avoid modeling a full character. And yes, Stimpack, it…
