Find me fucking evidence of cannabis being actually harmful. Alcohol causes liver damage among other issues, there is ZERO fucking evidence I've seen of cannabis causing damage of any extent near that of alcohol.
Hey everyone, I just wanted to mention that I was able to hide this issue to a good extent by adding noise to my specular map. It wont work very every model but man it hid it on this one pretty good.
The last screenshot looks pretty original to me, but I'd have to agree some of those monsters resemble Doom3 to a large extent - the characters really dominate those screenshots so it's hard to say what the environments are like.
It may just be me, but from my extensive experience of being in bars, usually the stools are a bit lower than the bar. Could just be me though. edit: I'm dumb. Didn't read the other comments :P
The .pk3 files are just renamed zip extensions. The textures are stored as .ftx files and can be converted to .tga's with the texture conversion tools that are in the FAKK2 tools, here: http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/heavymetalfakk2/Thirdparty/fakktools.exe.html
Nope, haven't tried the contact us option yet. Call me odd, I usually do an extensive search first. I'll give that a shot on monday if I can't find anything today. Thanks Daz
Today I decided to expend a little bit more time on the block in, before sculpting. I still felt that everyithing was quite rushed, and therefore the results were not that great. But I consider it an improvement over what I previously did. Learning the program a bit better also.
The late finnish computer magazine, C=lehti, featured this extensively in it's issue #2, april 1989 article "Nebulus - pyörivän tornin salaisuus" (Nebulus - secret of the revolving tower.) Most probably this is not what you after, though... ;)
When you save a Google Earth .kmz from the free version, you can rename the extension to .zip and extract your model. I think it's a collada .dae. That's an old trick though, hopefully it still works.
A bit more progress. I'm not entirely happy with the texture at the moment so maybe with the deadline extension I'll get some more spare time to work on this. My faces always begin to contrast in all the wrong places :\ .
