This weekend I started on creating a modular interior set for the asteroid cave, and xpanded it with tech pieces and connection pieces for both themes to use for a 2nd interior. Thanks for posting Dan! It's hard to believe you modeled that facade building such a long time ago. It still holds up really well and that's not too surprising since I've always been a fan of those original Gears pieces. Those ME2 pieces are really cool too! I like the layout and appearance of ArtStation, but you cant seem to open multiple tabs of images from the thumb tables so I find myself browsing DrawCrowd way more often even though I don't think it looks near as good. Why make an art site with a white background? =/ Plus, ArtStation is super slow compared to DrawCrowd. -

Thank you :D Polycount has been my home, since I first started 3D modelling when I was about 11 years old. I believe I joined soon after, while I was working on the Mastersword Half Life mod. Good memories here, it's so nostalgic anymore that even the layout of Polycount is still the same -

+1 I believe that what is the most important in the scene in general is layout and overall balance of shapes, colors and lighting. very nice pillar indeed, but u`d better start scene layout first and make all (or most) of your objects in rough form and populate the scene with them ;) Refining sculpt and textures right from the first asset is dangerous to loose global scope and waste too much time on one single asset when its polished look is not that… -

ok well.. that was a fair amount easier than I thought it would be. New Portfolio I made the home page have exactly what the portfolio page is and removed the extra navigation links. Also, can someone look at my breakdown sheet layout and tell me their thoughts. It feels like I am missing something, but i don't know what.
