Au contraire, mon ami! I'm working on developing an idea for a movie/world in my spare time. I've got about 3-4 months of work to put up, but I'm waiting until I have enough finished pieces before I show what I've been doing. I want to be able to explain it properly and I need more art to be able to do that effectively.…
Hi People of Poly count !:) I'm going to be creating a thread where it will be containing my photographic realistic textures and hopefully can gain some good feedback of you guys
As @Eric advised, OpensubD has options to alleviate smooth UVs, but it won't entirely fix it. You can also add in extra support loops to try and 'contain' some of the stretching.
I think every game client has this file "dota 2 beta\dota\models\heroes\viper\viper_hit.ma" It contains the whole map, believe it was used for a cinematic or something.
Maybe the real test is to find a way around making the ground transparent and copying the containers, like making the ground slightly reflective, thus saving polygons and rendering time? :poly121:
thanks for the reply HP is already on one smoothing group, LP has no split edges... I just attached the FBX in a rar file, the FBX contains the LP, HP and Cage
I really like your self-contained scenes, but should the cloth on that table set be so high-res? It looks a bit overkill considering its only a bit of cloth.
Hi guys, here is another free substance. This time a ancient ruined pavement. Check the link for more renders, the RAR containing the 4K maps, and the Substance source files. Enjoy!
Did you check the Vray forum? http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbulletin/ I wonder if the demo contains an older version, that's usually the case because the demo has to be rebuilt as well.
Thanks. I made a couple of screenshots with wireframe on my artstation page https://www.artstation.com/seoredbus there is a marmoset scenes with some objects. The whole scene contains about 50k points
