There's a thread here on polycount somewhere called How you model dem shapes. It has a lot of shapes and tricks to model dificult shapes so you might want to check it out.
Nice work, I use Airplay both at home and at work and it's great :) I'd like to see some of your WIPs and know about your team size and dev cycle, if that's cool.
I'd go for Wordpress, too. As well as being a pretty solid CMS, there are a zillion themes and plugins to either download for free or buy, if you or your wife aren't web dev-inclined.
The animation lists are stored in .def files. If your just replacing the current animations then you can just overwrite the current ones. If you need extra ones, then they will probably need to be coded in.
Short but sweet. I always like seeing these sort of videos cause they remind me the dev's aren't doing anything surprisingly different to what I expect when they create artwork.
and also does someone has some great reference about scripting animation with a biped? found dees : http://www.cgplusplus.com/online-reference/maxscript-reference/source/biped_maxscript_extensions.htm but that's just the help
Thanks ClusterOne! C: Big hands are kind of part of the style of Dishonored, but I don't think I really owned it and it just sorta looks unintentional. I'll def readdress the hands!
I was jazzed about the game. What a shame dev's have to tread so damn carefully with new ideas. Its like loving to be creative while squashing someone elses creativity.
Thank you for the feedback! That LoL article was probably one of the most practical and helpful that I've read. Even though there's not much dev time left, I'll implement what I can!
Thanks for the link Eric. Seams that World Machine is very popular around here :D I'll definetly take a look. Great result, MisterSande! Is anyone familiar with Maya and DEM files?
