+1 It looks scarily like the source material :) but I'd like to see what it would look like with some lighting and shadows akin to Witcher 3 or something
Trying out a fantasy environment - it's always been something I struggle with, but I do love the environments of Skyrim and the look of the Witcher 3 promotional material
Dunno. It's looks pretty past gen to me ;p. At least compared to Dragon Age: Inquisition or Witcher 3. That being said, that trailer convinced me, that I'm not interested.
This might be true to some extent but it's one of those phrases that everyone seems to throw around on this topic. The Witcher 2 is a great game but people still pirate the crap out of it.
Agreed with the others, variation in the wood material via, different materials/vertex painting/decals/whatever would be good. Otherwise nice work, reminds me of The Witcher 3.
+ 1 for The Witcher. Good story, well-written dialogue and nice graphics but very linear compared to other RPG's. Also a little light on loot, if you're into that sorta thing.
Why is Nyra's Specular Map Blue? I mean it has a blue-ish tint. It's not for specular and gloss because blue also has value. I saw similar in witcher maps. Is there some reason for this?
