Really nice. It's strange but I feel like in all the TB2 screens I see, everything looks a bit plastic, no matter the material : skin, leather, metal, etc... well maybe it's just because people are not still used to it.

Quick update before bed. I went back to the rock sculpt after discovering the wonder that is TrimSmoothBorder. Ignore the seam, I just did a quick bake to get it in TB2. I'll be going back to it again for the smaller details.
don't get cs4 it has serious display and performance issues. At work with a dual screen its constantly flickering making it almost impossible to use the layer panel + the 3d and general performance is a nightmare. Get CS2 if you can
I like Vista a lot, but unfortunately Photoshop CS2 runs like shit on it so I'm usually forced to boot my XP install. Adobe has announced it is not going to make any kind of patch to fix it either.

Looks like an iPhone game to me. I dont have a problem with the new UI except that its so unbelievably slow. CS2 is the biz, I couldnt loose my healing brushes :)
I read that in CE2 a 100 generic units in max was equal to 1 meter in sandbox. Is it the same in CE3 or have they changed it? Looking great so far man! Will have my eyes on this one
Have you tried the two things that I suggested? If you have and didn't see any change in the result, please upload the TB2 scene, model and normal map and I will take a look.
