@slosh - Thank you for the feedback! True true, I definitely agree. I threw on a relatively simple material for these shots but I should tweak those values like you said for future iterations.
"If you draw a straight line roughly from the feet to the shoulders, that (almost) indicates the direction the body is going to go, and the line of the resulting extension pose." This is a cool trick, going to keep an eye out for this in future.
So cool, I really like everyones so far. Will definitely join in future animation challenges as I am already pretty far along in the 11 second club animation challenge this month.
I'm just going to leave my two cents. He has asked to be left alone so stop preaching to him. If he posts art in the future he now knows what to expect.
Thanks guys!! Glad you like it :D We would love to see the game on as many consoles as possible. Right now our focus is on the Steam version but who knows what the future holds!
Oh hell YES!! Although, I'm completely broke, and will have to borrow money to buy the game, so I can't get this book anytime soon. Thanks for the link, bookmarked for future purchase. :D
Don't thank me until you get it working. Also, for the future, the technical talk forum is more appropriate for these kinds of questions. General Discussion is more a place for tangentially related or off topic conversations.
Sad news. I wanted to see this project happen. On the bright side though, he says in the last video that there might be a future for this project yet. Sounds like he got funding elsewhere or something.
Technically no beta tester can talk about it until March 1st, those that do jeopardize future participation in any and all autodesk beta programs. So this probably isn't going to be answered, until then...
Ok so this project is due today. Here are some screen shots. They were taken in marmoset. Let me know what you all think and i'll keep it in mind for future projects like this.
