New Images .... I decided to make a complete cave mesh to have the full control about the texturing process :) The light is still a tough fight but I'm comming closer, with every build!
congrats on the 3dtotal acceptance! Pros: Dat belt is HOT Good presentation + base Good diffuse Cons: Clothing sculpture could be better Material definition a bit weak Overkill on polies.
Nice work Alvaro, hair looks beautiful, I'd add a little more volume to the ponytail and scale up that bow, other than that I think you are super close to the concept!
Actually, after checking the reference again I see exactly what you mean, it almost look like it's starting to Bow or something, it has a certain weight to it that mines lacking (the beams)
It died immediately after. Cod 4 was innocently successful and thats what was great about it. Activision wasn't trying to manipulate the series at that point in time so they could get more sales.
Feeling like im spamming my own thread now. Well heres a bow concept for TidalCraftsman, which was apart of his Drow set, please check out the set here
Why didn't you continue with the 3d artist career? Also, about webGL and three.js this is a game i made but using some free models from the internet. http://tbsgame.byethost9.com/
The Soviets were not in the original COH - those models are only in COH2. So it's not the same models but the same underlying data formats in both games which allows for the old tools to still be applicable.
latorril - thank you! Blaisoid - thank you, but actually there's a lot better hand painted texturing tutorial on 3dmotive by Tyson Murphy. i even bought it coz it's just freakin' awsome!
