Here's the first update. I was able to get some time from college and work on the model. I now started gaining some confidence and successfully managed to block out and establish the basic shape. Tomorrow's a holiday so will continue tomorrow then. (I'll do the optimizations once I finish the model)
@kanga Hey thanks again for your answer it's more clear now, i've noted everything got to test all of this and moving to the next step! ;) I'm going to continue my character now. I'll try to move the fingers a little bit too ahah. Thanks have a nice day! B)
No idea why it is doing this, sounds like its continuously loading in new instances of the texture in memory. One solution would be to just use a different program to display textures, either the target engine or an intermediary program like Toolbag. You shouldn't use the Maya viewport anyways, its full of lies.
Erich, what`s that from originally? Portal tech seems the obvious choice given both the confirmed Appeture presence and HL generally having some kind of portal/teleport mechanic as the root of their continuing problems. Personally I just want to spend a few more minutes with the super-gravity-gun:)
@crazyfingers "a monopoly exists when a specific individual or an enterprise is the only supplier of a particular kind of product or service.[...] Monopolies are thus characterised by a lack of economic competition to produce the good or service and a lack of viable substitute goods." Just in case you want to know. If not,…
Thanks guys, and yeah Shrew, these guys did a real good job doing characters from the same comic. Made some corrections to the arms, and continued to work on the cloths/Accessories and got rid of the beard. It clearly didn't fit the model at all. I'm going to start that beard over with a good base.
Yes, I count the Q2pmp in the 13 years. The site was renamed and the layout redesigned as at the time Quake3 was about to be released and we had realized that the site was going to continue beyond supporting just Quake2 models. It had already gotten beyond Q2 at that point to be honest, but this was more setting the site…
Hi Haz. Good job. We look forward to continue the upgrade. Hey haz, please take a look at my trade. I am completely confused making the face. Write your opinion what you think. I would be very grateful. And yes, great video broadcast. Congratulations.
OK, I was a little blunt with my last post. The hexagons are too random and do not match anything else she is wearing. If you want to continue experimenting with the design I would suggest framing it in some way with a trim or some sort of clear outline to make it look like an actual top.
Right did a few more corrections, someone noted to me that the handguard had to much separation between each other! If there are no more obvious issues then I shall proceed to lp this! Now I think of it, I think the back of the stock needs a little bit more accuracy before I continue.
