Hi! Texture-wise, I think the normal maps look a bit too intense. What's your texture creation process like? Perhaps look at some scanned and processed surfaces for reference/ visual benchmark (Megascans, Polyhaven). Also make sure you have sufficient texel density, I think walls might be a bit low res. The normals came out that way every time I tried baking it. I think the issue might be because of mirrored UVs but I still haven't found the reason for the messy normals. -

Totally understandable, as for the normals, I meant the tangents, so if someone bakes with one SG group without breaking normals, it would still work. For example, Blender and xNormals are synched, Marmoset is 90% synched, Max is synched to nothing, etc. -

Xnormal is a good way to go. To be clear, you don't transfer UVs from highpoly to lowpoly. Instead you use the UV layout on the lowpoly to capture the normals (via a normal map) and the colors (via a diffuse map) from the highpoly model. -

Here is a more recently made character. 8) The character is 9322 tris with 2048*2048 diffuse/specular/normal maps. The machete is 748 tris with 512*512 diffuse/specular/normal maps Used; ZBrush, Topogun, Maya, Xnormal and Marmoset. -

Hey guys, I got a little problem here, The edges of my normal maps are acting up.. They seem to go inwards. Anybody know's how to fix this. I tried both 3dsmax and xnormal for the normal baking but they both do the same :( -

I think you have too much going on in your material, seems a bit over the top for a building. When you look at most all buildings or walls, they're a single color with some very repetitive bump, or in our case normal maps. You might try just zapping out your diffuse and your spec map and using a flat color, let the normal…
