This is very interesting stuff indeed. If this ever gets into alpha / Beta for unity for other folks to test count me in. I would be curious to see this in the Asset store as an extension. Very promising stuff.

i'm not sure to what extent the material system works in that particular engine, but if you could add a fresnel based off the normals, you might be able to get that soft light tone in the creases

I've been working in games for 16 years, have a pretty extensive network, with several AAA titles, and I'm not completely confident I could make it comfortably as a freelancer. It's definitely not a "Plan B"
