Hey thanks for the answers guys. I tried the updated code you provided and it does work as intended, but I'm still not quite sure I understand. Let me try and talk it out and you guys tell me if I'm wrong. So the way I had it written the functions were not in global scope? If so, why was that? I thought functions would…
Huh I dont understand How do you get them all native in your own 3d previewer and all having the same background ? How is this possible ? Wouldnt you need access to all the 3d models obj/fbx formats ? But without smoothing groups and no textures in preview is making search incredibly more difficult however, is that a…
LMP: Thanks for the reply! I've started gathering learning resources for both Max and Maya, along with some for mudbox and zbrush (just so I find what I like working work). With the game engine, I intend on creating a personal project over the summer, not anything for company which would require and in-house engine, but I…
@reverendK - I actually read somewhere that gold is an unlucky color for the year of the goat. Other than that I think the "shell" look a bit too heavy for tide. @GhostDetector - I actually liked your previous bracers better than both the new ones, Although the textures could use a little more depth @Toasty - I loved your…
Eoq - cheers dude OrganizedChaos - thanks man yea eventual I'll do a lowpoly but am waaaay off from that at the moment Jigsaw - cheers for makeing the offort to feedback twice dude :) I know what you mean wih Ryu's face altho he's always looked very European . The gloves are just quick base on a ryu pic I was looking at…
I bought it but I find it too clunky and slow to use as intended (start to finish in ddo for example). ddo is awesome to quickly generate high quality masks, and ndo to add normal map details mostly in hard surface. I just get the generated masks and work from there in Photoshop. Maybe I'm not used to it yet. I still use…
+1 Neox advice. whilst Dynamesh/Zremesher are fantastic tools, their real effectiveness is knowing when to use them. Dynamesh is generally used as a block-out tool(amonst other things) or at a very high res on hardsurface creation. Using it as a retopo-stage tool on a fully detailed character with high frequency detail is…
1 quick question, is the first image supposed to be the reference? its lookin pretty good so far tho. just a couple things. first off, if your intending to bake it into a low poly and texture, dont forget that you dont want to pinch your edges to much because the bake wont read sharp corners very well. and secondly, even…
Hey @Ashervisalis thanks! Yea I kept going back and forth on that as some of the references for gardens like these sometimes had all straight raking some had this kind of blend of following islands with a directional rake in the centers and some had that thing where all they do is rake around the islands endlessly until it…
This is 100% expected behaviour. In simple terms, You’ve fixed a bunch of pixels on a texture to two triangles in absolute positions within them, and then changed the shape of those two triangles. The pixels won’t shift themselves off their assigned positions to suit your imagination. Hence the distortion. The only way to…
