Really interesting character, I like the cloth design and the pattern work :) Besides to your time estimation, do you have some kind of texture size or polygon count limitation? But yeah keep it up!
Try to avoid super long polygons. Also, what is your workflow like? If you're planning on changing this model to high poly, you're going to have super weird geo to work with for your high poly.
Don't be so stingy with the polygons. You rock would look a lot better if it had more of a defined silhouette. Adding alpha planes around your bushes will make them look a lot more interesting.
I'm surprised how well it baked considering the low polygon count. Normally, I would expect a model like this to have hand-painted diffuse textures only! Looks good man, great job.
_SoriN_. There are over 30 millio polygons mate. Im afraid you cant see anything there. U work in zbrush, Max or maya? Or all of them? Maybe i can give you some advice
Hair tale Rock hand Skirt wrinkle -> This one is barely visible...but anyway. good to have something. I think I'm almost done with high polygon. Any critique comments is appreciate, thank you.
I think the easiest way to do it, is to have two meshes at first, the surface and the tunnels, and just make the tunnels as 'tentacles' and when you are done, invert the meshs polygons, so you get tubes instead.
Has your model been extremely scaled up/down? That may be effecting the sensitivity of the tools. To fix it you would need to "zero" the displacement. Or maybe focusing on the polygons you want to change with shift+a will help.
Hmm that's a bit better, though i would probably say try and break up the forms into sub planes more, as it kind of has the appearance of a hair texture painted onto a solid polygonal hair model.
