next time this happens, go to vert mode and marquee select what you think is just one vertex and see if it says two on the overlay at the top if you have it turned on, then you'll know IF it's because you dont have merged verts and voila problem solved
could be a tumor too, my uncle had that, he got the tumor cut out and tghe problem was solved could also be a inflamated eye(the colored stuff, it seems i have that from time to time) makes one photosensitive and gived headaches but goes away
at nova days you must to know at least 10 programm, cuz they all sucks. and every year there are new programs for solving all issue for modelling alrady we have solid solutions like NVilo Blender Modo Silo for Other we have Softimage
First thing that comes to mind for solving this sort of thing is using modularity of some sort. As for the reasoning behind using bigger normal maps than diffuse could be that the surfaces become more dynamic in different lighting conditions, in turn building on top of existing diffuse detail.
in 3dsmax in the current viewport setting, you must set all the viewport texture quality to maximum 4096 https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/3ds-max-3ds-max-design-general/solved-texture-map-resolution-course-low-in-nitrous-viewport-not/m-p/4287725
Yeah, it's likely that the light distance is not high enough to hit your model, which means the scale of your mesh is probably very large. You can adjust global scale in the scene object's properties. @vertex_, adjusting scale should solve your issue as well
i tried also to solve the problem..and failed ...i will try it again but now i have no time ... i think you must start with initially higher divided cylinder and with that, premiums solution should work but i will test and post the wires when i've tested it...
Actually, I still have this problem. Just mistaken, and thought it was solved. But, there is already started thread before me - I have the same problem. If anyone has a solution, please help people here! http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=94585&page=2
I tried the Tool:Export and the Multimap Exporter but its still wrong...or at least not what I need. What do I have to do to export my mesh with all Subtools and still have the UVs of the subtools? This is driving me crazy, I cant seem to solve this :(
Thanks guys for the tips!! In the end, was 3ds Max problems... I was using 3ds Max 2013 but when pass to 2014, the viewport showed the exactly same problems of the game, so I've solved the smoothing groups issue and done... There is the result. What you guys think??
