I thought Topogun was some random weak 3rd party app until I tried it out. It's much easier, faster, and more powerful than Zbrush's retopo method! Give it a try :)
Some things I would add to this character: a belt, some type of necklace with a gem that gives him his powers, and some type of embroidery design on the clothing to show off his status.
Some updates. Still adjusting hair and materials. But I have VRay now so the rendering is more powerful than what I had, but also different than what I'm used to.
Also, metal gear solid 2, 3, and 4 are pretty much landmarks for narrarative games. You can disagree with his taste for melodrama, but the quality and power of the man's work is pretty indisputable.
Really great title, thoroughly enjoyed it. The end sequence was not nearly as powerful to me as the beginning was, however. When his daughter died, I actually teared up a bit. Really great experience.

I added another loop around the waist and holster to add some curvy-ness since I'm still under my 10k tri budget. Also filled in that holster with a power drill.
Actually, the bottom left is my gloss mask, the bottom right is my spec. I'm using a factor of 10 to tighten the values of the spec power in UDK. Should I make it more contrasting?
ya unity can be good for selling assets and small games but for presentation purposes i would go with UDK or mamorset toolbag, sine they got way more rendering power behind them.
