Maybe try this one: http://www.katsbits.com/files/md3/Max6ExportMD3.zip Made for Max6 but might work with 9. I know it works with 7 and 8. Hosting and handy list of files courtesy of Kat. Side note: I found this by searching "md3 export max" in Google, it was the 3rd link down...

I'm surprised he didn't think of that himself, Tumer! also, pixelation alone wont make something look '8-bit'. Some sort of palette-management is in order, but that'd take it beyond the 'quick fix' into 'you're better off doing it by hand', which I realise you're not planning on doing.
Looks fucking awesome. Though GOW lagged fucking terribly with just 8 player multi-player, so I can only imagine what 60 player would be like, it only took one shit connection to ruin a game. Still looks awesome, I'll have to give it a go.
Haha yeah, oxy...alot of us do not have transportation so that is a meeting point to where we can then decide to go. So far we have about 6-8 people meeting up, though I hope more will be able to make it. See you guys there soon. Spark
Yeah I am having crazy lag issues with CS4 and this was on an even smaller image then jordan mentioned. quad core set up with 8 gigs of ram as well. home set up was the same with dual core and 4 gigs. Seriously wtf. It has been like this since CS2 on Vista.
8mb? What size are the textures? Looking at the amount od detail I think that 256x256 textures for the head and body is more than enough. 8 of those textures with the model itself will make it much smaller than 8mb. Or did you add sounds? Or does custon animations add a lot to the filesize?
Thanks for the feedback @carvuliero I've tried to go over all the points you've mentioned, now I think she looks way better. :) There are still more muscles to refine, so going to try to keep updating more constantly. Also this model is using 8 head canon of proportion.
The back of the blade enclosure thingy can be detached and just made into a plane with just one poly or a 6 sided cylinder cap. The middle cylinder that the blade rotates on can be also detached and maybe use a 8 sided cyl instead, because it will also be hard to see. But good progress, nonetheless
thanks for advices !! I used about 2 mounths, but I've worked 7-8 hours for week. @Shrike The right image's colors are great, for the weapon, I've used the original conceptart colors, but I prefer your colors, I'll fix them. I really appreciated your advices.
