console command: changesize 1 adjust the 1 to 0.6 or whatever feels nice. Though they may have removed this console command in newer versions of UDK like that did with setspeed
Glad I'm not the only one! Finally just gave up and said it is what it is...it'll be a hard concept to match 1:1 to the image, if following the obvious modular components for a layout
Cylindrical maping. But you either will get seams or steched texture. To minimize both you should use 2:1 texture (512x256 for example) or even 4:1 (512x128 ).
