kill the history on the mesh before mirroring it,this will resolve the dissapearance of the crease on the source mesh. if you initiate the crease tool,in the channelbox on the right, you can punch in numeric values,or even tie it to a script for consistency throughout the model.
Agree with this, maybe also a filter to see only the initial post of a thread? It makes sense to see helpful text posts like tools releases or information, while filtering out of context posts like Magihat says.
Yeah, initially I didn't like it all that much, but the more I watch it the more I see in it. I watched the commentary with Gilliam, and it was quite interesting. Sometimes commentaries suck and are terribly boring, but this one was enjoyable and insightful.
After the initial 3 models I did I grabbed a small break to play some games and not burn out. Long story short, I'm back at it. Gee Bee Sportster I did for shits & giggles:
I initially thought the hips were pretty weird but now I think the proportions seem a refreshing change. Given his track record I'm sure the boots and everything else will turn out super secksy!
I can make it change direction constantly, it spins right then left and right again. It never does an entire spin in one direction... My brain hurts lol... but initially i just saw it spinning clockwise
very nice! I gotta ask, was the tiny baby face on the head in the initial design? it's great texture is gonna make a big difference on this already awesome model can't wait to see it on a low poly with a finished texture
We Initially, for ease of testing, used the keyboard controls to move the character and use abilities.. BUT!! I present to you, the new and improved controls! I hope these controls will be comfortable to use! Do you think anything should've been different?
I have actually I will continue to check them out but that's how I initially found that Think Tank and CGSpectrum Australia were pretty much the only things I was looking for. Thanks for reminding me about this one though.
So I'm making a weapon for the character Sven for the DOTA 2 workshop, and I can't figure out which direction to take in the design. I made the initial high poly for the weapon, but got some suggestions to tweak the top and the handle, so I redesigned it a bit.
