I'm in agreement with TAN on this one, its character contest, not "Konstantin Maystrenko piece of the month contest" Also there should be some variety in our choices. I personally think the environment challenge is starting to become "sci fi corridor of the month", I don't want that to happen here. -
Amazon warrior
This is a character I started working on for a quick 2 week contest. I finished the sculpt and low res version for the contest but haven't had the chance to texture her yet. I'm going back to redo the low res version to include more polys. For now though, here's the sculpt. C&C are very welcome. [IMG][/img] -

If you saw the RIOT Polycount contest, do a character that matches that contest. The winners for that were all recruited for jobs at RIOT i believe. You want to do solid sculpts but make sure you focus on hand painted textures...this is going to matter the most. -

If you want to be involved in the animation contests, you might get a LOT more out an actual 'Animation' based community. 11secondclub.com is an animation community with amazing monthly contests. Winners get their work critiqued by their peers at Pixar, Dreamworks, PDI, Disney etc. :D -

Aye. The problem with the prop contest is/was timeing. 1: school finals, 2: crunch time 3: it ends the same time as the CG Chat contest. Chibi deamons sounds cool though. I could whip one out in 2 weeks I'm sure. -
