Korean artists aren't cheap anymore. :/ They're ridiculously good though. Remember that time when they were invited to Dominance War 3, and placed as 8 of the top 10 concept finalists. http://www.gameartisans.org/dominancewar/3/index.php The Simpsons are also no longer animated in Korea due to high production costs.
it's located in UDKGame/Config/Engine.ini The lines you should change are: AllowD3D10 (to true) MaxMultisamples (between 2-8 I believe) Snooping around it seems the later UDK updates added DX 11 too! AllowD3D11, not tried it out yet, but I guess it means DX 11 for UDK in the future ^^
My mouse broke last Thursday. Been animating with my Wacom pen which is new to me. I'm so ticked... had the same mouse for 8 years. I updated her weapon in the other post today and I can use that a her prop on Sunday. Shabbat Shalom everyone!
try using radial symmetry with 8 points, or however many points your star has. This also only really works if you have fully equlateral star point things. other option is to hand carve it, it sounds boring, but cool looking sculptures have some tedious parts to them.
Alright, so the texture is now done. and I am MUCH happier with in now. Because the other texture I had was far too rushed. Here's a small preview of Mr. Forsaken: Now I texture the effects with the 8 tris I have left, and then spend the rest of the time on the presentation of him.
that's odd, HMV have had a games section over here since ... well, since i first remember the big stores actually opening i think. Can't quite remember buying 8-bit games from one, but definitely Amiga games ... or was that Virgin? Nope, pretty sure it was HMV
my wii is fun! it takes some getting used to to play obviously. i am only like 4 foot away from my tv so it can be ackward at times, they say you should be at least like 6 - 8 feet away. Any other lucky kids out there?
I had a calcomp tablet before Wacom got really big in the industry and every 2 weeks it would develop parkinsons shakes unless I replaced 8$ worth of batteries in the pen. Plus the driver was crap. Wacom is teh awesome and has no real competitors that I'm aware of, at least for quality.
I'm a big fan of Mueck too. I saw one of Phil Hale's paintings (about 8 feet tall) hanging in the National Portrait Gallery here in London not too long ago, it was very impressive. Never seen anything by Kuksi before, never even heard of him, but that stuff is awesome!
