yeah the only MMO i've seen which should technically allow for nudity, is the Daemonettes of Slaanesh in WAR (the miniatures all have one bare breast). but even WAR turned them male =/
it might be cool if your characters were miniatures or something like that. it may feel out of place if you had a realistic character, but you can just try it and see of course. You are the master and commander of your own ship.
The texture details are making the scale of the model look weird. I guess what I am saying is the size of the scratches is making the model itself look like a miniature (unless that is what you intended :) )
thanks for comments. I referenced my old WH40K models and most of modeling is from miniatures from early 90´s. I agree legs are too rounded blobs and need better modeling.
Freelance concept and 3D artist for anything, well, assuming I'm good enough by that point. But, also an independent tabletop game creator, mainly miniature games. The tabletop sector is still growing despite the competition.
Well it looks like a miniature scale replica of a lab placed on a kitchen counter top. I'm not really in to this sort of thing, so idk what to suggest, but maybe my unbiased observation can help. :)
Somehow, in your texturing, you're making it look like your models are toy models, or miniatures. That boat is pretty big, you might want to think about using tiling textures on something like that.
Was reading Interstellar article about how Nolan wanted to use miniatures from the start for the spaceship. He was convinced CG wouldn't get it right. I actually agree with that direction as well, there's something about it.
don't forget that those tombstone will look extremely miniature compare to champs, it won't read that well. Even baron's pit doesn't have enough space to put such a concept and make it look real nice.
looking to improve my stylized models so i took the challenge of doing this miniature are game-ready asset. any criticism is welcome :) Here you can see the marmoset file https://www.artstation.com/artwork/kDGEZK
