Smoothing errors in Max
I've been working on a TF2 item and I'm nearly done with the low-poly but one thing that's preventing me from finishing it are these smoothing errors. The areas of the helmet shell that are chamfered are making hard edges in the smoothing when I want it to be a smooth surface all over. Here's the areas I'm talking about.… -

Q for the web site design savvy
How difficult would it be to set up a site like Gizmodo, where you can enter news items and categorize them, and viewers can add commentary? Are there any free 'design packages' that could easily allow for setting something like that up? Was talkin with some friends about setting one up so we could easily share interesting… -

Got a new iteration of references and now I have a face type target beyond "vaguely human". Remade the forms. Abs seem less broken now. Still have doubts about the arms. Now I'm not sure how to proceed further D= The face seems off-target and I can't see why. -

You have an odd balance of items in there. First off, choose a direction. Characters, environments, props, etc. Then tailor your folio to that focus.
