pretty sure that that extra-wide spec falloff is to get specular highlights across the whole model and hide the fact that the diffuse layer is a solid color =(
Pretty cool, but missing some important detailings on the sight and stock. http://www.studiocreations.com/howto/endorrebelsoldier/ers_endorblasterrifle.html IMO- I'd darken the diffuse on this one.
It looks fantastic - I'm still confused about the megatexture though - do they have several, ie: diffuse,specular, normal, opacity, lightmap megatextures?
