not animation. Deforming the volume itself with a spline / function (eg a bend modifier) doesn't strike me as being a massive leap over what you already have. It'll depend on what sort of cunning stuff you're doing to make it go fast though I guess
I just checked and the turntable object appears to be working as expected. Can you tell me exactly what problem you're having with it? For the turntable to function, you need to make sure that any objects you wish to rotate are children of the turntable object.
In max/maya is there a possibility we are moving away from supporting edgeloops for higher subdivsisions? I haven't got a chance to mess with OpenSubDiv modifier yet. Also, will Zbrush become more prominent in 3D modeling pipelines with the new Zmodeler function included?
I already installed Mental Ray for Maya 2016 Ext 2. Windows recognises that it installed, but it's not showing up in Maya's plugin list. And even then, is this what GoZ actually wants? It makes absolutely no sense to require a rendering plugin for a mesh transfer function.
Quoting Jerry from Penny Arcade "If you don’t hang around with Children Of A Certain Age, you might not know exactly what is being bought here. They’re functionally purchasing a generation. Two billion dollars starts to look like a steal."
The push/let go function doesn't exist in mudbox, so you can't make a zb navigation scheme in mud (at least you can reproduce pan an rotate, but not zoom), and the other way (mud>zb) may be the most asked feature ever...
Nice highpoly! I would change only one thing, and thats the spur wheels. They aren't functional how they are at the moment.Looks like they don't do anything, they are just there. Except this, its a spectacular model! I hope we can see this finished once.
Thanks, and also damn. Seems a little dumb to have a function for multiple tiles and then not be able to bake them in one hit. In that case I'm wondering what all these instructional videos did to get perfect normal maps straight from mud box?
Thanks for reporting this - we'll fix it ASAP. In the meantime, you can create a black and white mask of your color on the ID map and paste that into "Paint Mask in Photoshop" inside of DynaMask. This will function as a workaround for this particular issue until we get it patched.
Are you following my instructions precisely? It has to be done in strict order to trick Unity into functioning with televisions. Let me know what steps you're taking and I'll check against the process and see if we can get it sorted out.
