Digital copies on most services are overpriced, true, that's why steam does so well with its sales. However, saying we should go pure digital is just foolish at this point in time. 2d games are dying out because the old-generation game artists (dinosaurs) have either moved on and are doing something else... or are in a much higher position in the industry.
